Up for offer and starting at a dollar is a 2007 Visconti "Divina Proporzione" limited edition fountain pen (Mint/Un-inked) complete with all factory boxes/papers.The Proporzione was the first of the Divina series and was released in 2007. The instrument is a pentagonal faceted design with stunning sterling silver insets. The body of the pen is made out of the most stunning burl wood celluloid pattern that I've ever seen. It looks like the precious wood that you would find in an antique French table or dresser.I have never seen celluloid that can look so much like wood. The browns and blacks in the celluloid material are contrasted by the beautiful silver spirals, again something that I have not seen done in any other pen.The cap itself utilizes Visconti's safety hook and latch system that requires only a slight press down on the cap with a quarter turn to uncap. The pen features a large 18k two tone Visconti nib (medium point) with an unusual/beautiful brown ebonite feed. The filler is what Visconti refers to as "Push and Pull" Touchdown filler (see instruction manual).Instrument is in perfect condition, unused, un-inked and un-dipped. Some sellers are asking $2000 or more, but you can offer on this one starting at a dollar and without a reserve.
