"FAIRY" PHONOGRAPH LAMPThis massive (39" high) phonograph lamp was made in Chicago, c.1920, by the Endlessgraph Manufacturing Company, who strangely dubbed it the "Fairy". It has twin lamps inside the shade, and underneath the lid is an electric phonograph turntable. The control switches for the turntable, volume control and lights are located on each support arm. The sound travels through the tone arm, down through the right-hand shade support arm, and out through the speaker grille in the base. The sound is not electrically amplified, only the turntable and lights utilize the electricity. This phonograph has been meticulously restored, polished and with a new lampshade provided.
An extremely decorative, yet functional phonograph.
