Dated 1945 by Sass-Dorne Studios, manufactured by Children\'s Wish Mfg.Co. of Los Angeles, California. These are 2 nursery rhyme cardboard place mats portraying LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD, (good condition -scuffs, scrapes, light edge wear), THREE LITTLE PIGS (plastic coating is flaking and peeling off, slight wear, corner wear, small crease, stain on back). JACK AND JILL (good condition, crease on front, corner wear).These place mats are part of a series of eight original Claytoon Mother Goose illustrations made in Hollywood and were reproduced from actual color photographs made from miniature models and stage settings.
