It comes from the large collection of a Massachusetts political and Presidential autograph collector, and guaranteed original. The autographs are: 1) Sen. Daniel Sturgeon (1789-1878) from Pennsylvania, served from 1840-1851, was Treasurer of the U.S. Mint, Democrat, signed "Daniel Sturgeon, Uniontown, Penn." 2) Sen. William S. Fulton (1795-1844) from Arkansas, served from 1836-1844, also 4th Governor of the Arkansas Territory, fought in the War of 1812, Democrat, signed "W.S. Fulton, Little Rock, Arkansas." 3) Sen. Lewis F. Linn (1796-1843) from Missouri, served from 1833-1843, Physician, Democrat, signed "L.F. Linn Missouri." 4) Sen. Garret D. Wall (1783-1850) from New Jersey, served 1835-1841, Governor of New Jersey, Commanded a Trenton Regiment in the War of 1812, signed "Garret D. Wall, Burlington, N Jersey." 5) Sen Albert S. White ( 1803-1864) from Indiana, served from 1839-1845, Representative in the House from 1861-1863, Appointed by Pres. Lincoln Judge of U.S. District Court Indiana in 1864, Whig & Republican, signed "A.S White Indiana." 6) Sen. Samuel Phelps (1793-1855) from Vermont, served from 1851-1854, Paymaster in the War of 1812, Whig, signed "Sam. S. Phelps Vermont." 7) Sen. Richard M. Young (1798-1861) from Illinois, served from 1837-1843, Presiding Judge at the Trial of the accused killers of Joseph Smith, Democrat, signed "Richard M. Young, Quincy, Illinois."
