F. Scott Fitzgerald (Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald) was an American writer and scriptwriterin Hollywood (from 1937). Famed as a chronicler of the Jazz Age, considererd a memberof the "Lost Generation" of the 1920s, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest Americanwriters of the 20th century. He finished four novels: This Side of Paradise, The Beautifuland The Damned, The Great Gatsbyand Tender is the Night. A fifth, unfinished novel,The Last Tycoon was published posthumously in 1941.
His works have served as sources for over 20 movies and television programs.
The Last Tycoon was recently released by HBO starring Kelsey Grammerand Matt Bomer.
