Rare Pair dated 1882 Sepia Albumen Photos of Old Downtown LA Pico House & Plaza. Titles on old labels read “The Plaza from Pico House Looking East”; and “Plaza Chirch of Our Lady Queen of the ANGELES, Erected 1822”. Framing is probably from the 1930s or thereabouts. Sight size of each photo is about 4.5” x 7.5”. Framed and matted sizes are about 9.25” x 12.25”. Photos are in very good condition. Each is affixed to its original heavy cardboard stock. Please ask questions before purchasing and thank you for looking! In person these photos are very clear and sharp, obviously taken by a professional. Similar images are in the collection of the Los Angeles Water & Power Company, those these very ones I have not been able to locate and are perhaps unique.
