I found this piece several years ago in North Carolina. It is a Vintage Antique Kernal-Fresh Buttered Caramel Corn Machine (Best Taste Yet). I\'m not exactly sure how to describe it, except how it looks to me. The pictures hopefully can speak for themselves and go a long way for buyers who collect peanut/popcorn machines to be able to evaluate it. I even googled and couldn\'t find anything on this machine. My best guess is that it was a circus, fair, carnival or maybe a boardwalk piece somewhere along the East Coast A(i.e. Atlantic Beach, Coney Island, etc), most likely in the 1940\'s 1950\'s or 1960\'s. I do collect a lot of stuff, but have never seen this one before. If you know more about this machine, I would appreciate any additional information you can share.
I think this machine is so rare and unusual that it would be unforgettable and the center piece of any popcorn/peanut store. Can you imagine how beautiful this piece would be, restored.
Cosmetically, it does have some superficial rust andtwoor threeareas that aremore deeplyrusted,reminiscent of adding salt to the popcorn and or due to brackish coastal air. The pictures should show these details. The three signs in the windows appear to be nearly perfect.

Shipping - I am estimating that this machine weighs 100+ pounds. Because of the size and details (windows with signs) it would be a bear to properly package. I have no idea how much shipping would cost for something like this, but needless to say, I prefer local pickup and can store for several weeks or more until a pickup time can be scheduled. Also, if you live on the East Coast and are coming down I-95 South in the next few months, I\'m about 50 miles off I-95 (Cary, NC) and could make arrangements to meet you with this item at a convenient location around Raleigh, NC. If you request shipping, it would be best for you to choose a shipper of your choice around the Raleigh area that could either pick up the item or I will take it to them so they can package and take responsibility for shipping it to you safely.
