Up for sale is a vintage Last Rites/Sick Call set. This wooden box (not oak) measures approx. 15\" tall, 12\" wide and depth is 6.5\". There is wear. Hinges are intact and the doors open and close. Varnish missing in spots on top (photo 11). The interior is purple fabric with some fade and stain and corner is a little loose. The 2 white fabric ribbons across the doors are tattered/torn. The candelabra holder is marked on bottom: Anchor Silverplate Co. Special Metal Quadruple Plate. Spots of wear on base but all seems intact. Measures approx. 10\" at widest and approx. 8\" high. The crucifix fits into the holder and I think it detaches and is stored behind in the box . The patens (plates) measure 5\" round. Both have IHS in center. Spoon is marked \"Crown\"?? with a cross on front. Wear to bowl of spoon on back. Cup is marked with the Anchor Silverplate Co. mark. Holy Water bottle is glass and marked HOLY WATER on front and cross/crown on back. The cap is plastic and not original. There is wear to all pieces. These are unique to Catholic households and displayed during the priest\'s visit to administer last rites.Shipping to US only. USPS This is a heavy set weighing 8 pounds.
