HUBBELL "WORLD WAR I FLEDGLINGS" 1947 THOMPSON CALENDAR COMPLETE FOLIO SET OF 12 COLOR LITHOGRAPHIC AIRPLANE PRINTS
Offered is a full set of 12 aviation prints done by the renowned artist Charles H. Hubbell. This is a special folio issue of the 12 printsthat were alsopictured in the Thompson Products, Inc. calendar for 1947. Thompson also issued a 2nd calendar for 1947 which featured aircraft of WWII from Germany and Japan.Starting in 1939, Hubbell produced the artwork for Thompson Products(later TRW) calendars through 1969. After his retirement,four additional calendars were published:three"Best of Hubbell"(1970,1971,1972)and "A Tribute to Hubbell"(1973).
