Description ANCIENT Egyptian 27th Dynasty Period hollow bronze statue of ISIS & HORUS CHILD. Isis is wearing sun disk and cow horn crown with Horus in the feeding position. She is approximately 8 inches tall not counting the 1/2\" walnut base. In addition is a bronze Ibis with a Sun-disk Crown. He will sit on the base but is loose as can be seen in the photos.The bottom of the wood base is marked in ink (what I believe to say): \"1964 Brno, Czech - Isis and Ibis - circa 27 Dyn\". I take the marking to mean the item was obtained in 1964 in Brno. This piece along with many pre Columbian items came from the estate of a couple who were amateur archaeologists and collected items while on digs and expeditions to Africa, Central and South America. I have been holding onto this one for about ten years but it is now time to let it go.I do not have expertise in ancient Egyptian Artifacts and can only guarantee the bronzes to be what is pictured.Please look closely at all the photos as they are an important part of the description and your are purchasing what is pictured. The actual color may vary due to lighting and/or flash.....PLEASE FORGIVE THE HIGH SHIPPING BUT CHARGES A 10% FEE ON SHIPPING AND THE POST OFFICE HAS GONE CRAZY.... also collects STATE SALES TAX to most states.
