I can negotiate to have the boat stay on the mooring for up to 2 months after purchase and payment for any necessary work to be done or arrangements to be made before she is moved to her new home.
This Taiwanese built 37ft LOA 1979 Rafiki was last hauled for bottom paint and thru hulls in June 2019. She weighs in at about 27,000lbs and is a heavy duty cruiser.
Look into the hull, she was built to be a very livable and safe world cruiser with a lot of headroom at 6’4” and a ton of storage.
The interior is filled with teak and in great condition.
She needs some work as all boats do but if you’re looking for a bit of a project then an awesome vessel, this is the boat for you.
I bought this boat with the intention of sailing her around the world after a refit but got part way through before life got in the way and I became too busy.
She got 7 coats of bright work on her top side a year ago and needs more or let it go to raw teal again
The deck will need to be redone and the teak has pulled up and the core is wet. but it’s a doable project but will require citing out the teak, fiberglass and ply core then recoring and fiberglass if the for-deck.
The cockpit and mid-stern deck is solid.
