Antique original cast iron penny or coin still bank that is a character figural bank of Billy Bounce. Billy Bounce was a comic character that was depicted between November 10, 1901 and December 3, 1905. Note the raised lettering on this bank that reads, ‘Give Billy A Penny’. This character bank is number 14 in the reference book, ‘Penny Bank Book Collecting Still Banks’ by Andy and Susan Moore. Moore’s book references this bank to 1900. Nice old paint and note the original winged pin to open this bank. Don’t miss adding this identified character bank to your own personal antique bank collection!
