Scare and rare print, but NOT one of a kind. Limited edition but no number. Please ignore any color striations on print from scanning for sale image, as there is NO color on print.
Authentic antique folio tipped in typogravure print on paper, dating to 1907,as published by the Salon of Paris, limited to 150 prints in English. Printing process is high quality typogravure on high quality antique holland paper. Condition is very good and clean for a print of this age ( with tissue protector, with title and artist showing some wear, NOT print.) Tissue protector shows wear with a 2.5\" inch tear on tissue protector and a small hole on tissue protector, NOT print. The binding strip is not full, but this is not significant, as the binding strip only held the print in the book....print is still full plate and unaffected ( sale images show same ) . ( Underneath the tipped in print shows typical stain from print lying in a folio for over 110 years and tissue protector is detached, print is NOT affected ). Print was published as tipped in and paper was not archival back then, so the stain under the print is normal for age . The original tissue protector is present but is NOT attached to print. Blank margins are approximately as shown. Print is blank on back and blank margins are full. Overall size is 8.25 inches by 12.25 inches with image size being approximately 5.75 inches by 5.75 inches.
