Authentic antique folio photogravure print on paper, dating to 1894,as published by the Salon de Paris.Condition isvery good on image and generally clean ( There are ink marks all around the plate image, which are from the printing process and original inks, which were pressed on to the print inside the plate impression at time of print. If you like the shabby chic decor, barn or country or distressed look, this is all of those and what appears to be stains are actual ink stains, again from time of printing process) for a print of this age, with the top utmost blank margin edge showing the original binding strip from the antique incomplete art folio.. A nice plate impression is seen around the image. Blank margins are approximately as shown. Print is blank on back and blank margins are full. Print is from an incomplete antique art folio book. Overall size is approximately 8.25 by 12.25 inches with image sizebeing approximately 5 1/8 inches by6 inches.
