You are looking at a VINTAGE PHOTO 35 MM SLIDES LOT of ISTANBUL, (Constantinople) TURKEY. There are several mosques that are pictured in the lot. One may be Hagia Sophia and another may be the Blue Mosque...I am not entirely certain which is which. The photographs were taken in 1979. There are the photos of several different mosques, but also included in some photos are busy and crowded street scenes with people and shops, vintage cars in parking lots and in heavy city traffic. These are not the typical tourist photos, but instead give an intimate look at the city life and bustle. One slide is blurry.I have many other sets of European interest photo slides in my possession, and there may be one (or several) photos that have unintentionally been included in this lot...that are actually photos of other cities or countries...they may not belong with this group geographically.
There may be some dust, small scratches, or slight bulb heat distortion.
I may have unintentionally failed to describe a blemish or defect, so it is very important to look at all photos as they are a very substantial part of my description. I am not a trained appraiser. By purchasing, you are accepting my description as is.
