THIS LISTING SELLS THE ORIGINAL 1929 PHOTOGRAPH thatVictor Perantoni shot in the courtyard of his father\'s\"Winiarnia ItaliaWine & Pasta Inn\" located atUlica Sykstuska 29,Lwow, Poland. That is where the international group visited and that is whereVictor Perantoni shot the photograph using hisZeiss-Iconta camera with auto shutter mounted on a tripod. (Victor\'s camera and tripod are on sale in our family store, which is named \"victorperantoni\").

After WWII, the Polish city, Lwow, was annexed by the Soviet Union and renamed \'Lviv\' (Ukraine). Today\'s postal address where Victor shot the photographisUlica Doroshenka 29,Lviv,Ukraine(formerly Ulica Sykstuska, Lwow, Poland). The actual site of the group-photo was the courtyard of our family\'s former \"Winiarnia Italia\"whichstillexists today amidst thriving businessstorefronts, same as Carlo Perantoni had in 1929.
Victor Perantoni is the young 18-yr-old standing on a wine-cratein the back of the group. Victor arranged the group\'s pose in symmetry, and set his Zeiss-Iconta camera with auto shutter on a tripod. Then, he positioned himself centered over the group next to Italy\'s fascist flag with the consulate\'s banner. The two ladies in the window are Victor\'s mother and her sister, his aunt.

The photo is in very good condition. It measures about 8¾ x 6⅜ inches on a 13¼ x 11⅛ decorativecard-stock board mounted by the original photo atelier “Rembrandt of Lwow” who developed the negative.

This original is a 1929 vintage photographfrom the family collections of Carlo Perantoni. It isin very good condition. The photo survivedevacuating Poland in 1939 to avoid the savage fury of a double invasion by Germany and Russia. Later, during 1943-1945 it endured 18 months of Allied aerial attacks in Mussolini\'s wartime kettle in North Italy\'s R.S.I. On 21 November 1944the photo survived the utter total destruction of our native town, Volargne di Dolce in a single instant, caused by negligence of the \'Todt Nazi Party Engineers\' as theyendeavoredto implode Italy\'s Alpine Mountain passes. After the war, the photo traveled to Australia with our family, and back to Europe 10-years later.

In 1964, after Carlo Perantoni\'s death, Victor brought the photo with him as herelocated our family to U.S.A. The old 1929 photograph finally saw light again when Victor retired to Florida in 1980. Subsequently, in 2007 the U.S.Copyright Office established the photo\'s 70-year copyright as\"unpublished photograph\" that will last until 2077.It\'s a 1929 photo in very good condition.

In 2011 a narrative relating the day of the photo-shoot was published in the Perantoni family history -\'The War ofLions\'- In 2015 and 2016 it received three awards (Monaco and Milano) for its screenplay adaptation.
