RARE PAIR OF EGYPTIAN REVIVAL WINGED GRIFFIN BRONZE CANDLE HOLDERS - CIRCA 1840Each candle holder measures approximately 5 7/8" high by 2 1/2" wide by 3" deep.In excellent original condition.The actual candle holders on top of each griffin appear to be made of a different material than the griffin bases. I believe the tops are made of some kind of white metal like spelter while the griffin bases are made of bronze. I believe the white metal tops are original to the set.
