The images show the actual state of the pen. About the PenFashioned from Argentium sterling silver, each pen & base take shape in the hands of the artist. It is chased, engraved, and polished by hand. Argentium sterling silver is the most tarnish resistant silver available today, and the column engraving is inspired by the friezes that decorated the buildings in Paris at the end of the French 17th century.
