1978 Kodachrome 35mm Slide, Pyramid of Djoser Saqqara Egypt desert Building:
$31.99
The stepped profile of the Pyramid of Djoser rises against a deep blue sky at the Saqqara necropolis. This structure, designed by the architect Imhotep for the pharaoh Djoser, is considered the earliest monumental stone building in Egypt. It represents a pivotal transition from mastaba tombs to the true pyramid form of the Old Kingdom. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage location and a major archaeological landmark. This image captures the stark, desert environment surrounding the pyramid in the late 1970s. Bright, high-contrast lighting emphasizes the tiered architecture of the monument. The film stock renders the deep blue sky with exceptional clarity. The original cardboard mount is clean with no visible dust or scratches. SKU: B12-1-13
