Title: Vintage 1976 MMA The Boy King Tut Vermeil Sterling Silver Statue Met Museum Base
Item Description:
A highly rare, premium deluxe edition Vintage 1976 Metropolitan Museum of Art (MMA) King Tutankhamun "The Boy King" Statue.
Unlike the common brass replicas from this famous exhibition tour, this top-tier deluxe sculpture is crafted from Solid .925 Sterling Silver with a heavy 24K Gold Plated (Vermeil) finish. It comes factory-mounted to its original, elegant polished black museum display plinth.
• Authenticity Stamp: Explicitly stamped on the back/bottom rim: "MMA © 1976 STERLING"
• Total Weight: 4.0 oz (approx. 113 grams). Because the custom black gallery base is a lightweight vintage composite, almost the entire 4-ounce weight consists of the solid precious metal statue itself!
• Presentation Base: Factory-mounted directly to its original sleek, polished black gallery display block.
• Condition: Excellent vintage condition with gorgeous luster, minimal tarnish, and a beautiful gold-vermeil gleam. The base is solid with clean edges.
This magnificent piece was sold in limited quantities during the legendary 1976 Treasures of Tutankhamun museum tour. Perfect for serious antiquities collectors, museum replica enthusiasts, or precious metal investors.
