Traveling Man Treasures is selling this pair of cold-cast bronze bookends from the Veronese Summit Collection released in the year 2000. The mint condition bookend sculptures are cast from durable high-quality polyresin mixed with bronze powder (cold-cast bronze) to achieve a heavy, metallic look and finish.
The bookends are a direct functional adaptation of the ancient Menkaure Triad relief sculpture, depicting Pharaoh Menkaure wearing the White Crown of Upper Egypt, flanked by the goddess Hathor and a regional nome deity.
