Framed Peruvian or Andean woven textile fragment featuring a large crimson looped-pile or fringe panel and a decorative tan border with repeated stylized bird figures and stepped geometric designs.
The weaving and imagery appear consistent with textiles commonly attributed to the Chancay or Chimú traditions of coastal Peru. The individual maker and exact age are unknown, and no documentation or certificate of authenticity is included. It is therefore being offered as an attributed Peruvian textile fragment rather than as a conclusively authenticated archaeological artifact.
Professionally displayed inside a clear acrylic/Lucite shadowbox. Overall frame measures approximately 24.5 inches tall by 12 inches wide.
