This historically important Katana was made for the Emperor Hirohito by the master sword smith Akihide. It is mounted in exquisite Tachi Koshirae and comes with a NBTHK certificate. Hozon certificate issued on July 9, 2014 by the Japanese sword museum. This sword has been published in the Japanese reference book \"The Shinshinto Meikan\"The Katana is signed and carefully made by Kurihara Hikosaburo Minamoto Akihide, bearer of the fourth court rank, as a prayer for the achievement of the emperor\'s work.Engravings by Akitadawhich are a poem of my master (Akihide) dedicated to the Emperor.
