This listing is for a rare King Tut porcelain vase designed by Gerhard Fuetterer to commemorate the historical Tutankhamun. Measuring 10 ¼” tall by 7 ½” across the shoulders, this circa 1970s porcelain vase was made by Kaiser Porcelain in a limited edition of of 2500. The frieze depicted around the vase are known as scenes from the Tomb of Tutankhamun. The strong colors you see are the true colors on the porcelain and there are no condition issues or any restorations. It is in very good gently used condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs and no crazing. It is marked by Kaiser on the base: Since 1872 W. Germany "Scenes from the Tomb of Tutankhamun" Designed by Gerhand Fuetterer and numbered 2380/2500. Created Exclusively for The Ghent Collection by Kaiser Porcelain of Staffelstein Bavaria Made in West Germany. It is inscribed by Fuetterer.
