This is a gold tone metal Egyptian theme book mark that measures 4 5/8" long x 1 7/8" wide. The item features the ancient Earth God of Egypt, Aker which is depicted as a double lion figure in between the Sun with Sky over head. This forms the Akhet Symbol...symbol of the horizon. The lions are the guards at the Gate of Dawn. They are named, "Sef" (Yesterday) and Tuau (Today). This well detailed book mark features relief images of the symbol. I don't see a maker's mark.
