\" Art Deco sculpture of the Centaure Automobiles Unic, made by François Bazin This is the plaster workshop study, which is the final draft, of a Bronze made in a single copy, in 1924. The large size of our sculpture H = 80cm x W = 50cm x D = 21cm is set on a tinted mahogany terrace 47x26.5x4cm We have attached a value scale on a photo, which are the Euro, Franc and Dollar coins, which are visible at the foot of the sculpture. This sculpture by Bazin who is an Art Deco masterpiece, an original and important piece from his workshop 1325/5000 Unic was a French manufacturer of passenger cars and trucks. Unic also produced coaches. Despite the success on the French market (there was almost no product exported at that time), the UNIC company owes its financial balance to the good wishes of Baron Henri de Rothschild. His death in 1947 came when the necessary recovery from the damage caused by the Second World War would have required heavy investment. Weakened like its French competitors - Saurer France and Talbot - the management of Unic must resolve to sell the company. Unic was bought, like Saurer France and Talbot in 1952 by Henri Théodore Pigozzi, then boss of Simca, who was always financially supported by the Agnelli family. Unic S.A. was then integrated into Fiat V.I. in 1966 and then into the Iveco group when it was created in 1975. The brand disappeared in 1984. In 1984, the Trappes factory, which has been manufacturing specific Unic vehicles and Fiat models since 1975 for the French market, will be transformed into a spare parts store following the rejection of Iveco Unic\'s participation in a call for tenders. \'\' offers from the French army, because it did not want engines (Fiat) produced abroad on its trucks. \"
