Yes, you heard right.This listing is for an extremely rare, one-of-a-kind, historical tintype depicting a bunch of rough and tumble cowboy, hunter or outlaw types with guns (rifles, shotguns and pistols). This tintype appears to have been taken out west, possibly California during the 1870's/80's. In all my years of collecting, I have never come by another tintype as amazing and unique as this. In addition to providing us with such a fantastic example of the American West at it's best, there are so many intriguing details depicted in the image, some of which include: very unique personalities, antlers attached to the head of a horse, both cowboys on the stagecoach are holding guns as well, there are at least three dogs in the photo, several structures in the distance, several people are left handed and much more. The average citizen did not own a camera during the 1800's, so it was often up to a traveling photographer. The Tintype is approximately 3 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches.
