This nicely done statue depicts the latter-day prophet Joseph Smith receiving the Melchizedek Priesthood. The higher priesthood was restored in June 1829 by a heavenly vistation of Peter, James and John. They ordained Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery by conferring "the keys of my kingdom."This figure is about 3" tall, and would be great for gifts, church lessons, missionaries, etc.
