the ornament
i can find no issues. this has only been in its box since it was purchased. the back of the box has «11994» written on the back of it, i don\'t know what that means or if that reflects its number in a limited edition (but there is no paper with this that would affirm that). (see second image.) other than that writing on the box, i can find nothing else to call out for you. a great memento of the dresses for humanity charitable tour from the 1990s with 20 of her iconic dresses touring. a particularly nice memento since it isn\'t flowery or ornate. what little there is out there from this tour tends to be paper ephemera. so this ornament has simplicity, a timelessness, and a permanence of decor that is very uncommon. a nice celebration of diana and still a very simple, clean item. great gift for a diana fan. it is in the shape of a parallelogram forming a marquis diamond shape. from point to opposite point, the height of the ornament is 5\". from point to opposite point, the width is 3\". at the edge, it is 1/8\" wide. that frames a smaller shape on slightly raised glass that is, from point to opposite point, is 4\". width from point to opposite point is 2\". this ornament could work anywhere since it could just go in a window and reflect light like a prism and for any occasion if not every day decor. it is nice to have the option of a simple, sleek, commemorative item about royalty. the only marks to speak of are a gold medallion seal on the lid of the box reading «the people\'s princess charitable foundation inc».about the people\'s princess charitable foundation(from: people\'s princess charitable foundation, a 501(c)(3) public organization, was created by dunkel in late 1997, following the unexpected death of princess diana of wales.
the organization\'s mission: preserve and display the dresses of princess diana.
dunkel, a founder of romac international, which became kforce inc., a tampa staffing company, became somewhat of a celebrity through the foundation and dresses.
«dresses for humanity» traveled the world with reporters from england to canada writing about the exhibit\'s humanitarian purpose in supporting princess diana\'s favorite charities.
